Turn 5: Alan

Alan wants to find Timothy V., so he skips attacking and draws two cards, drawing a Timothy V. and another Matthew G.

Alan wants to accomplish a few things this turn. He sees that Tim is needs just one more item to deal 5 damage in a turn and kill Kellie M., so he wants to heal her (either by retreating or with the Eat Lunch in his hand). He also wants to play Create Photo Gallery or Design and Build now that he has Timothy V.

He notes that Create Photo Gallery requires Greg H., Timothy V., and either Mark L. or Matthew K. He also notes that Design and Build requires Timothy V., Matthew K., and Matthew G.

He therefore starts by exhausting Mark L. to play Eat Lunch healing Kellie M.

He then retreats Mark L., discarding the top card of his deck. He ends up discarding another Timothy V.

He then plays Greg H. and Timothy V., and exhausts Greg H., Timothy V., and Matthew K. to play Create Photo Gallery, attaching it to Timothy V. Greg H. has more HP, but attaching a task to him also makes his ability less useful.

Alan had considered attaching it to Greg H., then retreating and replaying both Timothy V. and Matthew K., which would have allowed him to also play Design and Build if he played Matthew G., but he decided it would have been way too many discards, and he needs the cards in his deck.

Alan had skipped attacking, so he finishes by up refreshing the three exhausted characters.
