Tim ended up winning the game with 6 kill counters to Alan's 40 points. You can play some more starter games with these decks (just be sure to shuffle during Setup) if you're still a little confused about the game.
Once you feel like you have a good understanding of the game, you may want to build a full 54-card deck and play the full game. Prebuilt deck lists are available on the website, as well as downloads of all the cards.
